Many states provide their residents with access to a suite of resources to help them with a range of information needs. The table below provides links to these state sponsored resources. They may require users to either have completed an online form or to provide the bar code from a current Library Card. I have located 45 states that offer access to residents, and 4 others that help individual libraries negotiate with the companies that own these resources to provide access to their communities. While I have not had the time to examine every state’s suite extensively, they all provide, for example, access to sources for finding newspaper and journal articles. I plan to update this information as it becomes available.
