Electronic Journal Mine defines electronic serials “…..very broadly as any journal, magazine, e’zine, webzine, newsletter or type of electronic serial publication which is available over the Internet.” This website is sponsored by the nonprofit Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries (The Alliance). You can search the 8,000+ electronic journal entries by keyword, title, or subject. An entry includes title, url, abstract, subjects, publisher, ISSN, frequency, cost, contact, address, and telephone number. Searches can be limited to free and peer reviewed publications.

Global Banking Law Database (GBLD)

This database is a joint project of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. “The GBLD consists of a collection of commercial banking, central bank, and deposit insurance laws of jurisdictions that are representative of the regions of the world as well as international financial centers. The laws are available in English in both MS Word and PDF (Adobe Acrobat) formats.” You can view/download the laws by jurisdiction or topic (35 topics). You can also search by keyword after choosing a country and document type from the pull down menus on the keyword search page. There is a page of links to the participating jurisdictions and international financial institutions.

Intel® Philanthropic Peer-to-Peer Program

The Intel Philanthropic Peer-to-Peer Program uses the power of peer-to-peer technology to enable individual PC owners to join medical researchers in their efforts to discover new treatments for devastating disease. By lending spare PC resources (such as such as hard drives and processing power) to the effort, participants help harness more power for discoveries that are otherwise constrained by a shortage of processing capabilities. The following medical research programs are currently participating: The United Devices Cancer Research Program; The Stanford Alzheimer and Amyloidogenic Disease Research Program; and The United Devices Anthrax Research Program.

Legacy Tobacco Documents Library

The documents in this collection represent the contents of tobacco industry websites as of July 1999. There are 20 million plus documents available for searching, viewing, and downloading. The documents date from the 1950s to recent years. New documents will be added over time. There are currently seven collections for searching individually or in combination using a simple or advance search. There are also links to other resources. This digital library of internal tobacco industry documents is made possible by University of California, San Francisco Library, and the American Legacy Foundation.
