Formerly iSleuth, the BigHub Mega Search is a metasearch engine which allows the user to search Yahoo, AltaVista, InfoSeek, Excite, Webcrawler, Lycos, HotBot, Ask Jeeves, and AltaVista news groups simultaneously.

Daily Bleed

This Web site allows the user to select a month and day to receive a display of events relevant to the date chosen. Links to more information are provided for many of the events. A name or event search can also be done through the Google search engine. The site is updated daily and you can subscribe to a daily e-mail update.

Monthly Labor Review Online

This is the online version of the print Monthly Labor Review. Abstracts and excerpts of articles are presented with the option to download the PDF full text version. The archives and index go back to 1989 with indices for ’91-’95, ’96, and ’97 also available in PDF format. Also provided is access to the Current Labor Statistics, Pre-formatted data tables, and a link to the BLS LABSTAT database.

This Web site is maintained by the U.S. Census Bureau. There is a wealth of statistical information here. The sections covered are: Newest Data, AES (Automated Export System), Schedules, Schedule B Search, and Country trade data.

This Web site is produced by K.G. Saur Publishing. The database is based on the 5th edition of the World Biographical Index. It is also a compiled index to biographical archives of various countries. You can qualify your search for a individual by occupational classification, year of birth, year of death, years cited, and use biographical archives. An entry includes the individual’s name, name variations, pseudonyms, date of birth and death, occupation, source quoted, and bibliographic information about the sources used.
